The Ring Never Made it to The Altar

The Grooms Ring Never Made it to the Altar

Steve and Diana had their ceremony scheduled for 11.00am. They had not hired a Certified Wedding Specialist and had used a large committee of friends and family to co-ordinate and plan their wedding.

The page boy was a very active five year old. During the processional he sauntered down the aisle with the ring cushion with the actual rings loosely tied on with ribbons. On reaching the pew where his mother was sitting, he excitedly went to join her. In so doing, the grooms ring got dislodged and rolled under one of the seats.

On seeing what happened, the Maid of Honour quickly borrowed a ring from one of their married friends and used it as a substitute. The real one was retrieved afterwards during the photo session and duly blessed by the celebrant.

Had they hired a Certified Wedding Specialist (WBW) they would have been advised to sew on only plastic rings on the pillow and give the real ones to the Best Man (brides ring) and Maid of Honour (grooms ring).
