Age is Nothing but a Number as "Guardian Angel" Weds Friend Esther Musila at Colourful Wedding

Peter Omwaka, a gospel singer who goes by the stage name "Guardian Angel" got married to Esther Musila, an on-line content creator on 4th January 2022 at a private ceremony and reception. The event was attended by family and close friends.

The venue of the wedding was a garden in the suburbs of Nairobi/Kiambu. The bride wore an off white floor length mermaid cream gown, made of satin and lace. The back was bare and it had buttons down the back. The groom also wore cream. His was a smart suit, worn with a white shirt, dark green bow tie and waist coat.

The brides maids were resplendent in pink gowns whereas the groomsmen were dashing and smart in dark blue suits, white shirts and red and white bow ties.

Peter Omwaka (Guardian Angel), is a well known gospel singer who turned 33 on 4th January 2022. From Kitale, he grew up at Ahadi Children's Home where his music career bloomed and grew. He started singing in high school and often participated in national music festivals. His first solo song was "The Living Bread." His other gospel songs are Nadika, Wakati wa Mungu and Utafurahi among others.

Esther Musila is a content creator who turned 51 on 25th May 2021. She previously worked for the United Nations as a Program Manager.

The two met after an interview on Classic FM Radio hosted by presenter Maina Kageni on a show named Bonga na Jalas, soon after the out break of the Covid 19 Pandemic in 2020.

Naysayers said that the two could not get married. Despite this however, friendship grew to like and like grew into love. Peter proposed to Esther on her birthday last year, on the pretext of taking her to sign a music deal. Peter said of Esther:

"I was empty, you filled up the space, I was incomplete, you completed me. I almost gave up on my career, you came into my life when a lot of things were falling apart, but within a short while, you transformed everything and brought my life into a beautiful shape. Since the first day I fell in love with you, I have always been confident that you are the one. I am proud I chose you. You have made me believe that there is true love. It is amazing how you love me."

This couple has gone ahead to proved that age is nothing but a number and have finally tied the knot.
