Updated: Mar 27, 2023

Seven Emirates, hot sunny weather, camel rides, rich chocolate covered dates, formula one racing, the tallest building in the world and resorts built out into the sea. These are just some of the wonders you will see when you visit the United Arab Emirates on your honeymoon.

Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm-al-Quain make up this amazing country which was born in 1971. Located on the eastern side of the Arabian Peninsula, UAE is bordered by Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman and coastlines on both the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

The climate is hot desert. However, it gets cooler in the winter months. In summer which peaks in August, temperatures are as high as 45 deg centigrade. In the winter which peaks in March, temperatures drop as low as 16 deg centigrade. The winter months, which run from late October when the temperatures begin to cool down until May when it starts heating up once again are the best months to visit the United Arab Emirates.

Attractions range from skiing down frozen slopes at the Mall of the Emirates to swimming with dolphins. Visit the gold souk and get presents for your loved ones. Do not leave this country without a stuffed camel bought along the busy Deira market place in Sabkha.

Get around in old Arabian styled Arba boats that take you from the old town Deira across the creek to Bur Dubai. The Dubai Metro also offers comfortable rides on either the Green or Red train lines. Hop onto one of the red buses or even a taxi to get to the shopping and eating spots around the city. Do you enjoy sewing or any other crafty hobby? Get fabrics in all colours and textures from the souks located in Bur Dubai and the Deira souks.

In the evenings, enjoy dinner in Downtown Dubai overlooked by the tallest building in the world. As you enjoy a falafil from Egypt or munch into delicious Lebanese cheese and fresh vegetable salad, sing along to your favorite tune as it plays out accompanied by the dancing fountains.

Relax to a soothing bath thereafter once back in your hotel room and enjoy luxury living like never before.
