Blue & Yellow Flowers for Your Church Ceremony

The news is finally out! Pantone Very Peri 3938 is the colour for 2022, according to the Pantone Colour Institute. The colour is supposed to encourage inventiveness and creativity.

When we look at the colour spectrum, blue is one of the primary colours. When mixed with yellow, a new colour, green is created. When mixed with red we get purple. This years colour tends more towards purple.

Although classified as one of the cool colours, there is really nothing cold about blue. Depending on the particular blooms you choose, the shade of colour of your containers, the contrast you choose to place together with your blue flowers, you can get a very well balanced arrangement that will brighten up any room.

For the church arrangement and pew end decorations, we have worked out this floral arrangement for you. With the help of your florists, mix stems of Delphinium (blue), bunches of Helenium (yellow) and stems of Dracaena for greenery, yellow roses and white daisies. This arrangement can be set on a dish with floral foam acting as the stabilizing base or in a clear glass vase.

Pew ends can be made by taking a balanced number of the same flowers and bunching them up. Tie them securely with florists tape and decorate the front with a white or yellow satin bow.
