The one thing every bride hopes for, is to look beautiful and fresh throughout her wedding day.

A bride may choose to freshen up during the day especially at the reception party. So as not to leave her new husband at the top table alone for too long, here are some beauty make up tips that will help you keep your make up looking fresh for longer.

1. Foundation

To prevent your foundation from disappearing into your skin, use a make-up primer. Before applying the foundation, spread it over your face. The primer will act as a shield to prevent your skin from absorbing the foundation. Once the primer is on, apply the foundation and set it with powder;

2. Lip Colour

Keep your lips looking rosy and soft by using a hint of a tint. Lip tints provide a long-lasting stain of colour. Apply the lip tint and finish off with a gloss. Blend into your lips for lasting effect using your finger tips.

3. Eye Liner

Choose a liquid eye liner instead of a pencil liner. These usually give your eyes more definition and last all day long without smudging.

4. Eye Shadow

Avoid creamy eye shadows and instead use powders. When applied with a wet brush, they tend to last longer.

5. Eye Lashes
