Lavender, Back to Nature for Bride and Groom Beauty Care Routine

Do you not just enjoy the scent of lavender? This essential oil is used in so many commercial products these days. I see it in clothes washing powders, in clothes softeners, in toilet balls and toilet disinfectants.

Lavender has a long history and has been used by people around the world for more than 2,500 years. Egyptians used it for mummification, the Romans used it for bathing, cooking and purifying the air and the early Middle Easterns used lavender for anointing and healing.

As a bride and a groom, I know you want to look beaufitul on your wedding day. Did you know that due to the properties in lavender essential oil which are anti-bacterial and anti-microbial, your skin can look its best on your wedding day?

When used continously in your daily beauty routine, lavender oil can reduce acne, age spots and it even reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Below we have a mixture you can use four months before your wedding day. When using lavender essential oil, always dilute it in a carrier vegetable oil.

10 ml Olive Oil or Almond OIl,

4 drops of Lavender Oil,

2 drops of Frankincense Oil,

2 drops of Geranium Oil

Use this oil four months before your wedding after a morning and evening shower/bath. Massage this mixture of oils well into your face, neck, arms and hands.

Essential oils are not to be used during pregnancy. If you should get a reaction such as a rash or an allergy, stop using it immediately.
